The Best Safari Vehicles

Nordic Travel Safari vehicles are luxury four-wheeled drive stretch Nissan or Toyota Landcruisers. They are all equipped with a pop-up roof for game-viewing, wildlife and ornithological reference books and coolboxes for refreshments.

Your vehicle is driven by your professional safari guide, who we select based on his driving skills, as well as his extensive knowledge of the bush and its wildlife. We have known and worked with all of our guides for a minimum of ten years.

Your safari schedule is subject to many outside factors, such as poor road conditions, adverse weather, and the challenges of distributing fuel across the vast terrains of the parks and reserves. Please bear this in mind, and be willing to show a little flexibility if we have to make changes to your itinerary at short notice. On safari, luggage needs to be kept to a minimum, as it will be travelling with you inside the safari vehicle. We recommended hold alls rather than suitcases, as they're easier to stow on the vehicle
